MENDING: Hand-Repair Hems, Holes + Buttons

Get one-on-one help and learn the skill of repairing, no machines needed! Save the items you already have + love. Mending acts as a protest against the waste of modern, low-quality clothing production. Fixing hemlines, replacing lost buttons or repairing torn seams is more cost-effective than buying new and preserves the resources used to make the original garment.

Guest Instructor: Susie Shaughnessy is owner/designer/founder of Crawford Denim & Vintage Co - a company she created from her affinity for vintage styles, made for today.

What you need to bring: Your damaging knits or wovens: slacks, skirts, trousers (non-denim), shirts or jackets with buttons missing (bring the buttons if you have them) or torn, well-loved clothes.
